A published caffeine figure
You should be able to see exactly how much caffeine is in the patch. If a brand hides it inside a proprietary blend, you cannot manage your daily intake.
Honest language about absorption
Be sceptical of any energy patch claiming full, instant or superior absorption. Nobody can promise that, and a brand that does is telling you something about its standards.
A stated wear time
A patch is a timed format. If the label does not tell you how long to wear it or when to take it off, that is a gap.
