CREATINE PATCHES

Creatine is the most researched ingredient in sports nutrition, and it is also the category where honesty matters most, so we will be direct.

The research supporting creatine is built on oral supplementation at gram-level daily doses — typically three to five grams a day, sustained over weeks. VYRO CREATINE+ contains 500 mg of creatine monohydrate in its active layer. That is the amount in the patch, it is a fraction of the oral research dose, and VYROTECH does not claim it behaves like an oral gram-level dose.

Creatine is also, chemically, a difficult candidate for a skin-contact format: it is highly water-soluble and charged, which is close to the opposite of the profile usually described as favourable for crossing the outer skin layer.

So what is the patch for? Convenience, as part of a daily routine, in a format that adds no powder, no water and no mixing. If your goal is the strength and power outcomes described in the creatine literature, oral creatine monohydrate is the format with that research behind it, and we would rather tell you that than sell around it.

THE RANGE

WHAT TO LOOK FOR

A stated creatine dose

Any creatine product should print the milligram or gram figure. CREATINE+ lists 500 mg per patch.

Comparison against oral dosing

A brand that never mentions how its patch dose compares with standard oral creatine dosing is hoping you will not ask.

Monohydrate, not a novelty form

Creatine monohydrate is the form with the research history. Exotic forms usually cost more and are supported by less.

No loading-phase claims

Loading protocols come from the oral literature. A patch should not borrow that language.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Does a creatine patch replace creatine powder?
No. Oral creatine monohydrate at gram-level daily doses is the format the research is built on. VYRO CREATINE+ contains 500 mg per patch and is a convenience format, not a replacement for oral supplementation.
How much creatine is in VYRO CREATINE+?
500 mg of creatine monohydrate in the active layer, alongside betaine anhydrous (dose still being finalised), 75 mg magnesium chloride, 100 mg taurine and 2 mg vitamin B6.
Is there a loading phase?
No. Loading protocols come from oral creatine research and do not translate to this format.
Why is the betaine dose listed as TBD?
Because it has not been finalised in the current prototype formula. We would rather print that than a placeholder number.
