A highly soluble magnesium salt used as the magnesium source across the VYROTECH hydration and strength formulas.
WHAT IT IS
Magnesium chloride is an inorganic salt that dissolves readily in water. Magnesium itself is an essential dietary mineral involved in hundreds of enzymatic reactions.
In supplements, the salt form determines solubility and handling; the magnesium is the nutrient of interest.
WHY FORMULAS USE IT
- It is a high-solubility magnesium source, which suits a formulation that needs the mineral in a dissolved state.
- Magnesium is one of the minerals lost in sweat, which is why it appears in hydration formulas.
WHAT THE EVIDENCE COVERS
Magnesium's role in human nutrition is well established through dietary science.
Claims that magnesium is meaningfully absorbed through intact skin are widely repeated in the wellness market and are not well supported. VYROTECH does not make that claim.
CONTENT IS NOT ABSORPTION
Magnesium in solution exists as a charged ion. Charged ions are generally poor candidates for crossing the outer skin layer.
The milligram figure on a VYROTECH label is patch content. It is not a mineral intake figure and should not be counted toward dietary magnesium.
