INGREDIENT
CREATINE MONOHYDRATE
N-carbamimidoyl-N-methylglycine monohydrate · CAS 6020-87-7
The most researched sports nutrition ingredient there is — and one with clear, well-documented oral dosing conventions.
WHAT IT IS
Creatine is a compound made in the body from three amino acids and also obtained from meat and fish. It is stored in muscle as phosphocreatine and participates in rapid energy resynthesis during short, intense effort.
Creatine monohydrate is the original and most studied form.
WHY FORMULAS USE IT
- It has the deepest research base of any sports nutrition ingredient and long-established oral dosing conventions.
- It is stable, inexpensive and unambiguous — there is no proprietary-blend guesswork.
WHAT THE EVIDENCE COVERS
The research supporting creatine is substantial, and it is built on oral supplementation, typically at gram-level daily doses sustained over weeks.
This is the clearest example of why route and dose matter. Oral creatine research describes grams swallowed daily. It does not describe milligrams held against skin, and VYROTECH does not present it as though it does.
CONTENT IS NOT ABSORPTION
Creatine is a small but highly water-soluble, charged molecule — chemically the opposite of the profile usually described as favourable for crossing skin.
The 500 mg on the CREATINE+ label is patch content. It is not a delivered dose, and it is far below the gram-level oral doses used in the research literature.
If you supplement creatine for strength outcomes, oral creatine monohydrate remains the format with the research behind it.
LIMITATIONS & CAUTIONS
- • A patch is not a replacement for oral creatine supplementation if that is your goal.
- • For adults 18+. Not suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
- • Consult your doctor before use if you have kidney concerns or take medication.
IN THE VYROTECH RANGE
Doses shown are the quantity contained in each patch's active layer. They are not a delivered, absorbed or dietary intake figure.
