INGREDIENT
VITAMIN B12 (CYANOCOBALAMIN)
Cobalamin · CAS 68-19-9
A large, cobalt-containing B vitamin included at microgram levels in the VYROTECH energy and performance formulas.
WHAT IT IS
Vitamin B12 is the largest and most structurally complex of the vitamins, built around a cobalt atom. Cyanocobalamin is the stable synthetic form used in most supplements and fortified foods.
It plays established roles in red blood cell formation and nervous system function as part of the diet.
WHY FORMULAS USE IT
- B12 is a category convention in energy-positioned formulas.
- It is active at microgram rather than milligram levels, so a very small quantity covers the intended formulation role.
WHAT THE EVIDENCE COVERS
The dietary importance of vitamin B12 is well established. Oral and injectable B12 have long clinical histories in a nutritional context.
That history says nothing about a skin-contact patch, and VYROTECH does not present it as supporting evidence for one.
CONTENT IS NOT ABSORPTION
B12 is a notably large molecule. Molecular size is one of the strongest predictors of how difficult it is for any compound to cross the outer skin layer.
The microgram figure on the label describes what is in the patch. It should not be interpreted as an absorbed or dietary dose.
LIMITATIONS & CAUTIONS
- • A patch is not a substitute for dietary B12 or for any B12 supplementation advised by a health professional.
- • For adults 18+. Not suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
IN THE VYROTECH RANGE
Doses shown are the quantity contained in each patch's active layer. They are not a delivered, absorbed or dietary intake figure.
