INGREDIENT
GREEN TEA EXTRACT
Camellia sinensis; caffeine/polyphenol fraction · CAS 84650-60-2
A standardised botanical extract of the tea plant, supplying both polyphenols and a small amount of naturally occurring caffeine.
WHAT IT IS
Green tea extract is produced from the leaves of Camellia sinensis. Depending on the fraction used, it supplies polyphenols — notably catechins — alongside naturally occurring caffeine.
The VYRO SHRED formula uses a caffeine and polyphenol fraction at 50 mg per patch.
WHY FORMULAS USE IT
- It is a long-standing botanical inclusion in body-composition formulas.
- It contributes both polyphenol content and a small amount of plant-derived caffeine in a single ingredient.
WHAT THE EVIDENCE COVERS
Oral green tea and green tea extract have been studied widely, with results that vary considerably by extract type, standardisation and study design.
Because extracts differ so much between products, findings for one extract do not automatically apply to another. VYROTECH does not borrow results from unrelated extracts.
CONTENT IS NOT ABSORPTION
Polyphenols are a chemically diverse group and behave very differently to one another at a skin barrier.
The 50 mg figure describes the extract in the patch. It is not a claim about delivered polyphenol or caffeine content.
LIMITATIONS & CAUTIONS
- • Contributes caffeine in addition to the caffeine listed separately on the SHRED label — count both.
- • For adults 18+. Not suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
- • Consult your doctor before use if you have a liver condition or take medication.
IN THE VYROTECH RANGE
Doses shown are the quantity contained in each patch's active layer. They are not a delivered, absorbed or dietary intake figure.
